I have a 2002 for Explorer with the factory 6 disk cd changer.?

I have a 2002 for Explorer with the factory 6 disk cd changer. I loaded 2 new cd's into it and listen to them for a while. When I tried to eject them I got a message saying "cd error" . The cd player will not play eject or load. Any suggestion on how I may remedy this problem?
