How do i make guinea pig toys?

i have two guinea pigs Muffley and Popcorn well .. i have had them for over 3 months and i swear to gosh they are so bored !! and of course i cant pick them up cause they run and claw at me ): well how can i make guinea pig toys? i put a bell in the cage and a wind chime and they seem to not take interest. all they want to do is eat them!! and i hate seeing them in their cage all bored cause it makes me feel horrible for even buying them :\
