My computer isn't that great. But it still (barely) exceeds the on the box requirements for BF2. Will it play?

The system requirements of battlefield 2 according to the box aren't too bad these days. But then again, (probably to trick people with lower end pcs to buy the game) the game companies almost always put lower requirements than what you need for enjoyable performance. The box says you need a 1.7ghz, 512 ram, 128 video card... blah blah. I've got a AMD athlon 3500 64+ (i think that's what it's called and I don't know how much ghz I have), windows xp, 1gb ram, and a pretty sucky nvida geforce 7300 LE 128 mb video card. Now I'm wondering if BF2CC will work good, or at least work at all on my low end box.? Does my rig got what it takes? Please tell me that it can at least get good performance if I set all the gfx settings in the game to lowest, ugly mode.
